Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County
Since 1933, the Memphis Shelby County Humane Society (MSCHS) has been providing shelter, food and medical care for thousands of unwanted, neglected and abused animals. And for just as long, people like you have kept MSCHS going. We do not receive funds from any state or federal organization or entity. As a non-profit organization, we rely solely on the generosity of individuals and corporations.
Help Make History
The Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County is entering an exciting new chapter.
We are building an entirely new progressive facility nestled within four acres of Shelby Farms. The new facility is designed to address the inadequacies of our current facilities and achieve many of the goals of the organization.
