Humane Education

HSMSC's community outreach and humane education manager Kerry Sneed dedicates much of her time to reaching out to the community to educate about preventing and reporting animal cruelty, proper animal care and how to help homeless animals. This includes visits to local schools, appearances in the media, and hosting a summer camp for 7- to 12-year olds each year, to name a few of her outreach efforts.
